And yes people in Japan do cut corners. Actually, after speaking to a guy who frequents Japan to purchase clips, he told me many are crazy about purchasing the little things like recaro cell phone holders, neons, various cig. lighter accessories, horns, etc. But there are knock off parts over there too, if thats what you are asking. It's just a different mentality over there, a lot of respect goes to the manufacturers of quality products. Unlike here in America where we all want the most performance for the least amount of money. Companies like ssautochrome and megan take the designs of the bigger companies and copy them and sell for straight profit. It costs a good deal of money to do R&D for new parts. Thats why parts from GReddy, HKS, Apex'i are so much more expensive than eBay. I personally have no problem paying for a QUALITY product, but for most of us the money just isn't there.

I've also found that the way they build their projects over there is different than the way we would over here. It's very common to see oil coolers as one of the first mods to their vehicles. It seems that reliability comes first with performance a close second. Quite the oppisate of the "bolt-on 'till she blows" mentality that is far too common on this side of the pond.

You can go to Mazda and buy them, They are Mazda Tribute Amber sidemakers or make a WTB thread about them in the F/S section and I'm sure you can find some.

It works both ways. People in Japan pay top dollar just to get a Mustang shipped over! We go crazy over what they have and they go crazy for what we have. I have seen some nice photos of cars in Japan with Altezzas! I mean, what we find ugly, they love just because it is hard to get there.

I like this thread tyler and I agree that there should be a JDM section er somthing like that.
As is, your ride is tight. My suggestion would be to take off the wing like you said and have it repainted. The foglight delete covers will bring together the front end.

Yeah I put them in today (foglight delete covers) and I am thinking I'm going to take the wing off soon.
