okay, i wanna keep my little jdm theme going on i guess... or im tying to go for that... but anyway, would it be nice if i got the ww sides? i wanted to keep my car autoexe exterior/simple i guess, but idk? good addition? keep it simple? thanks - chris

ps. i choose the ww sides because its f/s for $150. mintblue sides are wayyyyy to much, esp to send them to hawaii. im planning to get the pioneer dvd deck right now ($650), but if enough comments come in, i may change my mind, thanks - chris

Do it. I'm VERY interested in seeing how the look on a real Protege, not some vendor show car. Only thing is that they may not "agree" with the front lip.

yah see thats what im affraid of... theres a yellow p5 in hawaii with ae lip and ww sides... his car is yellow, but the whole car itself is ugly (tweety bird stickers, FAKE UGLY vents on the hood, STOCK height with 17 in rims...)... so idk... the car looks ugly, but i cant judge it cause all that s*** on it. - chris

I think because your car is black, it would go pretty un-noticed. I mean the fins on the side of the skirts. Maybe if you found some side splitters for the front bumper it might even it out. But I really think it would look good either way.

The wingswest sides will look like hell. Only put them on if you want to totally kill the look of your car, and make it ashamed to go out in public. Good lord, who would slap that plastic s*** on their fenders!?

But anyway, do what you want (as long as it's not putting those flares on)

its all because that little air vent in it is strange. are you supposed to toss chickenwire in there? lol. my friend has a mr2 that had similar sideskirts w/ chickenwire in there.

maybe if you filled up that vent hole it would look better.

Diddo... in my own humble and very inoffensive Canadian opinion, I think the MP5 and MSP are one of those cars where it just looks rught as it is and the additional cladding just looks a tad... (gasp) Pontiac Grand Prix-ish.

Oh, in that case, I say it would be an improvement. The detailing is a bit different than the bumper and lip, but at least the height would be a closer match.
