Remember everyone voting for the fugliest car on the road... well guess who won for the most appealing entry level SUV. That's right the aztek.... like seriously.. it looks like ass..... and the best looking compact seden.. the beetle... yeah ok... and the the most sporty car... Golf GTI... yeah hhhmmmmm I can think of 10 better cars alone for a sports car... what is going on in this world.... i hope the car manufacturers won't see this and go on the AZTEK look for 2003-2004 cars.... please oh god NO.....

It's hard to understand exactly how that survey worked...but it seems like it's definitely not based on looks only....it's not only the reviewers that thought the Aztec looks like ass...I don't know anybody that thinks it's a good looking vehicle.

Whatever ass-clown designed the Aztek needs to be severely beaten... That and it's big brother the Avalanche are supreme examples of Fugly. *shudders*

I wish you could all be here to witness me Kamakazi my head into my monitor in a desperate attempt to end my life...lol

I think Chevy is really anal about what goes on with the corvette...and with Bob on their side it doesn't seem like they would still employ that loser.

I hope thats incorrect info Sir Nuke...lol...I really do.

Let's just hope...

that they at least take a sketch of older 'vettes and their specs into the room with them. Looking at what they achieve with a tabula raza is scary. I also hope they unabandon the Camaro by making that SS truckoupevertible into a real performer, something to keep Ford from asserting that just because it's alone in it's field, the Mustang is now really something other than an instant redneck rocket, just add testosterone ODed pimplehead with Dad's checkbook and a backwards NASCAR hat. However, I did get a few "nice car"s from those guys, so maybe some of them have their hearts in the right place :) My suggestions for the new 'vette include:
- all wheel drive, all wheel steering
- mid engine doing 500/500/500
- curb weight under 2000 lbs.
- shorten overall profile by 2 inches
- possible combination brake reclamation/hub motor for each wheel for takeoff/passing acceleration
- LCD blackouts for when the headlamps are off
- replace stereo speakers with passive-glass resonators, and slap a light memory-card-only MP3 player in there with XM
- switch to a totally carbon fiber exterior
- make entire lighting system (save headlamps) LEDs
- three selectable ride heights: speed bump, twisties, and "is that thing even off the ground?"
- give me one for helping out

you think I have a chance?

Yeah, but words are free!

I know, I know, but if'n they're going to start piddling with the 'vette, they should at least consider something groundbreaking. I think Lotus is onto something with light, responsive cars, and the technology exists to make a light, functional, powerful car. It's just a matter of slapping a Corvette badge on it and let's face it, enthusiast idiots will buy it, thus making it marketable. It's the fuzzy, fence-straddling thought processes that hobble GM at every turn. In order to make every single vehicle marketable everywhere, they have erased a large reason of why you even have a line-up: diversity. Lookit - pickup trucks with leather everywhere and three-zone temp control, CD players, etc. Cars that lay all over each other in demographics and technology (Sunfire, Cavalier, Saturn SC), Enough bloated sedans to make a mobster movie, ALL under GMs umbrella. Make the Corvette Carbon, and make it with performance in mind, and let the Sunday drivers who want frigid air conditioning and shag carpet buy a Buick. The World already fears the Corvette, now let us justify those fears by building a monster that will destroy the competition. Ford plans the GT-40, a new Viper is out, and the geniuses at GM work ever more ardently at softening the Corvette? C'mon!
Incidently, a McLaren is only expensive because no one ever expects to sell more than a few of those pups. GM, however, is already mass-producing a world-beater. Use your heads, gentlemen! You've predicted the future with the Autonomy, begin making it so now. Radically slim the product line, make nearly everything modular, and let the North American car-buying public decide what their car would be.

Thank you, good night, God bless.
