Jackstand Placement

Anybody got some pics of front and rear jackstand placement on a P5? I've had other cars up on stands before, but I'd figure I'd ask for suggestions first before putting my new car up.

Also pics of jackpoints used with a floor jack would be helpful. I know where the Mazda jackpoints are there any other suitable ones?

I would suggest simply checking out the owners manual? They will have pictures along with safety instructions on how/how not to jack your car safely in there.

no pics but the jack stands can be placed anywhere where there is permanent frame. in the front the rad support or a little further back the two unibody frame rails on either side of the exhaust.
the back youll notice some thicker lower rails around the gas tank

Perfworks - Thanks for the insight. I'm assuming its safe to use my floor jack on the frame in front of the radiator support to lift the front end and place the stands.

youll notice on the rad support a bowl shaped cutout on the subframe connector. that is the perfect place to put the floor jack. it distributes the weight of the car evenly

Is that the nipple-like looking thing right around where the front motor mount bolts to the frame?

Also, can anyone second what jali-p5 posted?

Additionally, what is the procedure to follow if I want to put the car on 4 jackstands?

I think it's like this:

1. Jack up the front at the "nipple," lower onto 2 jackstands.
2. Jack up the rear, lower onto 2 jackstands.

Let's get this info flowing! (gossip) (thumb)

Yeah, those four pics pretty much say it all. I've spent a while under the car yesterday checking that out.
