Is your car faster after miles?

I have heard of this in the past when manufactures limit the output for a few miles outside the factory but my car feels a ton faster these last few days. The outside temps and everything have pretty much been the same its just today when I gave it the go fast pedal it really took off. I have a SRT-4 that has close to 310 HP and it felt close how it accelerates. Just wondering if you all experienced the same thing with your MS3 after getting it, thanks.

I havent noticed anything. Once I got the car back from the dealer after doing the CEL crap, it seems to be a little more peepy.

Yeah, I've got a few more miles and you can feel the difference. My last car was a WRX with a prodrive reflash and catback, and the 3 still feels faster.

it's the ECU and drive-by-wire throttle that's making you think that... then some days the car feels really slow and boggy. Had mazda stuck to a traditional cable driven tb, the 3 would be more consistent.

about to have sprited acceleration until redline? try flooring it above 3k on 3rd, then try again at 2k. Car pulls better when being floored below 3k.

I will check on that, how would one respond to a cable t-body conversion?

Can't be done without a standalone EMS. It would ba way more hassle than it's worth..
