caps dont really do s***.. upgrade your grounds.. get a better battery.. then see what happens.. i was pushing 600 watts with a 1 farrad cap an my s*** still dimmed out until i put my hids in.

Hmm... Thank you all for the advice. It gives me something to think about.

I'm halfway through buying the parts for my custom ground wire kit and just need some gold plated ring terminals that dont cost a fortune. Circuit City and Best buy sell them for like 30$ a pair but i need 7 pair. Anyone know where I could pick them up cheaper?

Oh and you know a site that carries the Optima batteries?
I want to take a look at the dimensions and see how I can fit it in there b4 I fork out the dough for it.

Before it went to the trunk, I had one in the stock place.

The Optima is shorter than the stock one. I just mad a "Booster Seat" for it and put some felt on the back of the stock bracket so it wouldn't scratch the s*** out of the battery.

holy s***. this is a total thread jack but on my pay back from the mazda team box social, lol, i was sitting there at a stoplight, with my turn signal on, and every time the signal lit, everything went hella dim.
