Is the navigation worth it?

I'm about to work on the numbers for my new MS3 at the dealer later today and I wanted to get the navigation, but the $1750 is kinda steep. I want to make sure it's a system thats worth while. Cause if not I've seen people buy the screen flip up area and put like a $300 garmin in there. I just want some feedback from people as far as ease of use, accuracy, features etc..

I heard it sucks, but I don't have one, I don't think any nav is worth 1750. Go with the garmin.

I have a Garmin C330. Aside from being able to map all Mazda dealers nationwide, I'll wager dollars to donuts it will match the factory NAV pound for pound. It's also removable and can be carried with you. 1750 is crazy expensive. I paid $330 online.

Yea I already have a TomTom 510, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't worth it, I knew that price was high but I want to get the car finished so I don't have to play with anything. I think I'll just leave it out and buy the flip up piece, that way I can mount the navi inside and 2 gauges
