Check my Evo out. Special edition Orange. But yeah, I might go get me one of those Protege's too. I hear their engines are rock solid... not like this crappy engine in my Evo.

lol got this a few days back, was talking to my professor about my car being hit on the driver's door and a guy in my class came up and said "yeah sorry to hear that you have a wrx right? " i said no and he went "but its a blue sedan"

yeah i get it all the time. i guess the laser blue just really convinces them. i actually had a small "argument" with a guy at a gas station over my car being a wrx. im debadged up front but the MAZDASPEED banner across the top of my windshield has got to tell them something. i can only see it getting worse when i get my gold advan rgII wheels... oh well.
will be soo jealous when you get these. I have wanted these for a while. I need to stop buying BS and save for them already

I have these two cars that's being talked about & they do not look nothing alike... I get called an evo all the time.
i could see the MSP being confused for a lot of things...
-the 02?-05 WRX rear spoiler is almost identical to the 03.5
-the 03 style sentras have very similar tail light design
-the body lines on the MSP and evo are extremely similar, as are their sizes... lighting and bumpers are substantially different though.
-there is one hyundai, cant remember which (edit: the accent on the first page), where ive mistaken it for a protege sedan rear end from like 200 feet out... more than once

I dunno folks, the MSP's body lines are sleeker to me but I can relate to yudkib's reasonings.
I see beau-coup Subies & Evos all over my small slice of Americana as well as down in Tucson (can't swing the literal dead cat w/out hitting one) so I can differentiate but they only get to see maybe two MSPs around here..
