pep boys offers many other "quality" products to go along with that wing. Pick up some windshield wiper nozzles that chang 5 different colors and our cool 2f2f graphics for the side of the ride. guaranteed to get you noticed, and laughed at on the streets. why do people do this to there cars. Oh well people have there own style nothing I would ever do to my car.

problaby did it because they wanted to. just like when u want to do things to your car you do it. everyone has diffrent tastes.

I agree. Just look at any hatchback in the BTCC and you will see wings over wings/spoilers.

I just recently purchased a drag style single element wing that I plan to install on my P5. I am hoping that it will...
1.) help to plant the car on high-speed runs on the freeway.
2.) mix up the air at the back of the car to eliminate the dirt vacuum effect that is inherent with the factory aero.
3.) turn a few heads... :)

And what the hell does Neuspeed make for Mazdas?
shame, shame, shame....i recall youpreviously had a neuspeed plate on the front to cover your license plate holes. glad to see you removed it.

btw, the owner of that car should be euthanized

lol. Someone remembers it. Yeah, I had the plate on there and still do. However, I wasn't using that to claim my car had Nuespeed parts on it. Just as a way to cover the license plate holes.

man and I kept being called a ricer for having a huge spoiler in the back, i didn't know that hatchbacks in the races put them on too. btw is that car in the pic a front wheel drive? cause we all know the purpose of the wing on a rear wheel drive car and i was hoping that there would be some justification to its use on a front wheel drive car. i guess if race cars have it they must do something.

btw i have the mintblue spoiler on, so its not really a wing on wing thing, but i think wing on wing is not too pleasant looking.... and doesn't really do much for your aero because you still have that trailing lip of the stock wing to create vacume and turbulence, if the wings were more aligned like in the picture above then it should hopefully help reduce that effect. but if you want to plant the rear end down more then either application would be fine. i dunno about the looks, try taking some pics before you plan to really bolt it down for good.

before you get all excited and justify an ugly ass 2nd wing by saying those race cars have em is pretty ignorant, i mean your comparing you street protege to that race Si? a spoiler only has affect at about 80-90+mph, this is the minimal speed you have to be going for a wing to provide any kind of usefull downforce, not that we usually have a problem keeping the rear end down on this car.

i dont know , maybe you drive over 90 alot on the highways and it is useful, maybe you get it cause you like the way it looks and its that simple....I like form/appearance mods but that is suicide.

yes i would agree... aerodynamic drag/force offerred by aero components only sets in after 62mph/100kph. and with speed the force increases at the rate the the speed squared (if i recall correctly) so the faster you are going the squared of that force will be produced as speeds increase.

anyways yes, you are right. maybe we all don't take corners at high speeds cause there really isn't a situation to do so... but i just like it for the looks and to really tell your the truth, i do feel it working at 80+mph cause i took a road trip and my dad commented on how much more steady the car felt in the back as opposed to before i installed mine and he doesn't know much about cars especially modding them and they use of mods.

btw to whoever posted that orange SI photo, that is one sweet picture!
