Is my CX-9 only one with many problems?

Hi
My name is Kai Kim. I bought 2010 Mazda CX-9 in March and have had many problems since. I would like to share my bad experiences and get your insights.
1. In 2 months, transmission valve broke down and shift gear only went to 3rd. I had my car in the dealer shop for a week to fix it.
2. In the hot summer, the front windows bounced back down after they hit the top as if there was an object sensored.
3. The side mirror (driver side) vibrates badly after 45 MPH. I took the car to dealers 3 times, they could not fix. I was told that other CX-9s were found with the same problem and with many customer inquiries. I called Mazda Service and was told that there is nothing Mazda would do about it and has no plan to fix it since there is no safety concern so I should bear with the problem. This is ridiculous! Evertime I drive I see shaking objects in the mirror driving me crazy.
DOES ANYONE WITH CX-9 HAVE SIMILAR PROBLEM?

It seems that the response from Mazda and the dealers is insensitive and even inappropriate. Since this seems to be a pervasive problem (the vibrating mirror) you might consider doing some sort of survey on the forum of those with this issue and go the "class action" route. If the vibration 50> mph is so severe that you can't see objects clearly, and at night it's probably worse, how is that not a safety issue???

I bought my CX-9 almost same time with you. So far i did not have any issues except the noise coming from right behind of the dashboard where the windshield ends. There is no noise on smooth highway but when i come to rough roads i start to hear the stuff... No solution so far by the dealer...

Hi please look carefully and you may find a difference between a driver side one and a passanger one.

Bought my 2010 CX-9 GT in March. Absolutely zero issues so far.

I intermittently notice the driver mirror jiggling. Annoying and distracting at times but not exactly a class one safety issue.

My 2010 Sports' only issue so far is the vibrating driver mirror after 50mph .. but It is not that bad to call for a dealer visit.

Your issues are valid ones. Tell the dealer's management about this problem and explain that you use this forum and that you will have to let all of the potential buyers of his company of the good, the bad and the ugly of your experiences with him. Idle threats sometimes can get results. If you still don't get the support or satisfaction then go directly to the manufacturer's USA base in Irvine, CA for results. Cars, as are any other big ticket items, are having a rough go of it during these down economic times. Customer service and satisfaction is one way they can bring their sales up. By not responding in a positive manner they are literally shooting themselves in the foot!!!
