just got a mazda cx5 from the dealer, i selected the model with navi system but they ordered a model without the navi system.

so they have to order a navi from factory and install it to my car in their service department.

my question is.... is installing an intact NAVI into a car a big process? does it involve disassembling the whole trim panel and all that?
i dont want my new car to be disassembled. and i am not sure if its there's any difference between a intacted navi from the factory and dealer installed one.

btw, the mazda navi screen is sooooooo small

I assume it will require some wiring to the headunit, so yeah, most likely they will be disassembling the dash. If I were you, I would get a portable GPS instead of buying a car with navi.

the gps module just plugs into a socket on the lower left of the dash (where there presently is a very tiny pocket) its just plug and pray
