Is anyone running AIO's AA?

Just wondering if anyone has installed Android Auto on their CX-5 via AIO, what version of the Infotainment Software they're running, and what issues (if any) they've had.

It sounds like changes to more recent versions of Android Auto have made it less disruptive to the Mazda cmu. Just wondering what people's experiences are with it.

Also FYI, although Mazda has no notice on their website of upcoming Android Auto capabilities, Google/Android does.

Pretty sure no one here is. We've had a few threads about the AIO tool and no one mentioned it.

Looks like you have a 17 CX5 that is most likely running the latest firmware. The AA and AIO hacks aren't compatible with that firmware. Something to do with the USB not reading files correctly.

I have 59.00.446 which still works with AIO. Starting with .502 new security measures were included the won't allow external autorun files to execute, requires a signed certificate, and locks down the SSH.

I didn't install it when I installed my tweaks due to issues with it.

I tried it, works well until you get a phone call, then no bluetooth calls and they all get routed to the phone. That was v1.02, v0.99 didn't have the bluetooth call problem, but was also much less stable.

Mazda sent out a notice to dealers worldwide regarding these tweaks. Basically if a dealer notices there has been tweaks done, etc. They have to ask the owner about upgrades and if anything goes wrong, Mazda won't be responsible.

Thanks, I read about that being the current issue. Sounds like they're trying to find a way around it.

I have been using it for a while. As @slidespec has mentioned above, v.099 is unstable, v1.02 is good. In the mean time, I deal with bluetooth phone call problem by using an audio bluetooth receiver and plug it in Aux port. You can buy one on Amazon at pretty good price.

Other people use app to automatically route phone call to phone speaker.

Thanks for the feedback. That pretty much confirms what I'd seen on the Mazda3rev site. :)

And you like AA that much that it's worth the trouble of switching to Aux when the phone rings?
