ipod adapter for kenwood?

I was interested in that too. I read a bunch of reviews and they said that skipping from track to track was painfully slow. And a real pain because plugging it in disables the ipod's buttons. Can anyone back this up? I think i'm going to pick up a used Keg instead. I hear nothing but great things about them.

not for $100, just use the aux adapter on the back of the kenwood and use the ipod for navigation. The other problem is playlist management. Most head units can't handle long playlists, so if you have lots of music (like my 5000 songs) you would have to arrange everything for head unit friendly playlists.

cool. I'll get the aux adapter then. I just liked the idea of controlling it through the HU, but if that's the function that has issues, then $100 is def. too much when the aux can be bought for $20.

A cheap Keg could be nice also. How much?

I was looking at the Kegs a long time ago...it's essentially a hard drive that you can attach to you CD-Changer controlling head unit that can store MP3s...and then obviously you can play them through your stereo...not sure how easy the navigation would be...(shrug)
