Hello there everyone I am new to this forum as you can see I don't have very many posts. After getting my new Titanium 2003.5 MSP I found this site as a search on Google and now I can't stop reading Its so addictive and helpful! Well this is geared for iON Performance primarily. I have e-mailed you guys about creating a new site for you. Not that your site sucks or anything but I thought that all of us could log on and simply see what you guys are up to. Be able to see pictures, info on new and upcoming systems, and get the latest technical specs on your products. I think it would be great for you guys.... and us

I consider you guys to be one of the top companies who manufacture aftermarket products not only for the MSP but for other makes as WRX as well. Why not show the world and everyone else what you guys are capable of.

Let me know what all of you guys out there think about this!

Do you guys think... they could use a new site? (Please dont think Im trying to bash on their current site just thought that great companies like ION should have a website that reflects their work and achievement)

I am not in this for the money but for the pure joy of helping out ION, and I thought this would help them out. Not that they need help in any way since their products pretty much sell themselves.

actually that sounds like a great idea.. i always go to there site in hope of pictures of products and more information but there site i guess isn't complete, plus it's not very up to date. i think a new site with pictures of products and customer rides would do them nothing but good, and just like u said they are a great company to begin with, but this would only help them out. The fact that Ion has enough time to post here regularly means that they have enough time to build a site. If they wanted to, they would. That's why they don't respond.

Other than an exhaust system, I don't know what they sell... Occasionally I'll see that someone bought a product from Ion I had no idea they made. I think it's pretty bad when I have to do a search on a forum to find out what a company sells. Seems like bad business sense to me...

They have choosen not to have a real website for some reason. That choice makes me very nervous about dealing with them.


I think it's sad that people are so frustrated that they're offering free help to a company that's making plenty of money and clearly has time to make a site if they wanted.

if your curious about what they sell, just call them. Jack will answer any questions you might have. Or use the search function. You will find out a lot more doing this rather than just sitting there and bitching about them not having their web site up and running. be a little proactive.

HAHAHA... very funny. Especially the 'be proative' part. Too bad you don't know what that means. I guess you have more time than me if you search this forum and wade through all the crap to find out what Ion makes.

Our mail objective of our website is to provide simple navigation and reflect our philosophy of function over form. Just to get the info across in a very straight forward manner.

If you can give us a rough idea of what you had planned, that'd be the best way to move forward on that. We'll just provide you with the details afterwards.

CarlM2 - The amount you learn is directly corelated to the questions you ask. Ask the right questions and you'll get the stuff you need to learn

There's a bare bone's list of what we make under the "Mods list for MSP" in this forum. It's a sticky @ the top made by jersyemt (sp!?).

Ion I feel the same way about how your website should look. I don't believe in flash intros and fancy animations to distract the user. I believe clean and to the point would be a better approach. If you look at my website www.leonardosilva.net you can see a similar approach. Maybe you guys could describe what you guys had in mind, what type of look you are looking for... colors etc. So that I can gear best to your interests and not what I think would look best, but what suites your needs and taste!

It would be great if JrTekSilverP5 could participate in this... he has shown interest and two think better anyhow, and the work could be split up and would take substantially less time to create!

It appears this forum has started to wear off on me now that I've joined the ranks of 'ignorant ass'. Maybe you and I both can make helpful posts and rise above that level.

I also asked them a few months ago if they would like me to redesign thier site with content for a small discount on thier FMIC. They weren't interested. You're right, an unattractive site looks unprofessional and disorganized. Personally, I don't buy from sites that look like that. Business identity is something I don't play around with. It's my job to make businesses look successful. I design logos, advertisements, websites, etc from new businesses to big corporations every day.

leosilva79 - simplicity & function over form is the key. Logo ofcourse wouldn't change.

It's nice to have someone share a similar vision in terms of what and how a message should come across.

subaruwrx - at the time, plans were to get data specifically. We like to have our results speak for themselves. It's this underlying reputation which is the reason why our parts are seeked out by those who want results not hype.

InsidiousMSP - As mentioned, we do appreciate the interest, however the key is to have someone share the same vision which allows for success.

That way we can polish the overall look and go from there? I can make a single image non functional page as a sample of my vision for your site. Then you can critique it and give me some feedback as to where we should take the concept from there on.
