Ion has great products

Yeah, I'm quick like that. lol. Just checking the posts before I nap out prior to work tonight. As for the turkey slaughter, yeah I bought of Greddy Type S off of Discreet Speed and he sent me a flange to go with it. I'll just have a buddy weld it on in the appropriate spot.

Good minds think alike. I'm gonna get the same black chrome powder coat on my pipes and I'll have to do my Injen too since it's the old nasty shiny one. lol.

i got a big ass grin on my face right now....is that polished aluminum like the injens!!!!!!!!!please say yes!

Thanks for all the guys who have our products :) It's nice to know there are people out there that can appreciate our design philosphy :)

Any pics of the front mount installed? I want to see the pipes up close and a shot of the front. The kit looks pretty good though, one question, did they weld beads around the pipe ends so the ic pipes don't blow off under boost ?

They didn't just weld beads around the tip, they rolled them so it is very clean and smooth. Disregard the hole, I made that for my BOV.

Glad it's on there bro, did you ever get a chance to trim the bumper cover a little more??? I have to take mine off tomorrow to install the new grills, lol. I'm gonna tighten all the connectors again while I'm at it.

iON does make some great stuff.

I'm doing the exact smae thing this weekend! Pull the bumper, shave a little more off behind the driverside fog light, make it look nicer.

Pressure test the piping and look for leaks and tighten where required!

When you say pressure test the piping, how are you going to do that??? I couldn't figure out how to test it, so I just re-tightened the clamps one by one to make sure there were no leaks.

Took an air hose fitting and a old intake connector and slicone pipe cap and lots of duct tape (Cause you know I am Canadian and every thing gets a piece of duct tape!)

Unhook the piping from the throttle body and the turbo. Cap it somehow. We used another silicone/ rubber pipe cap.

Ran about 80 psi from the hot side to the cold side.

I found 6 leaks the first time. Losing .5 psi easily. Big difference after though.

Big difference how???

My car seems to pulse a little under acceleration again kind of like pre-flash, I wonder if a small leak could do it? Did you notice anything like that when you had the leak???

His stuff looks good too bad his site is crap and you have no idea what he sells. Makes you think he is just a college kid sitting in his dorm.

Nope he's just one of those crazy Canadians. lol. Honestly, I think they would have created a better website by now if they felt they needed it. Obviously they aren't hurting for sales.

well until he squares it away i will be spending plenty of money with others. its just a shame because i remeber him back in the subaru days even when he was the JC Sports north:) by now you would think he would have pictures up or something

True, true. Word of mouth sold me on his products. Funny how integral websites have become to businesses in today's day and age.

Another side to not publishing pics and documentation on the net is security. Why give your competition visuals and descriptions for free? It makes sense to me that for a company that is the "first" in an area that they protect their investment by not giving the competition any opportunity to "steal" a design.

I think I was the first person to purchase an intercooler for the MSP from Jack (I think) and not that it matters................... This was way back in the early stages of production

I had no idea what it would look like or what to expect. All I had to do was ask and Jack provided me with everything I needed as I needed it.

There are two sides to this coin.

Jack- do you make a downpipe with a hi-flow cat for the msp? i assume your dp's are the same as apex's in that they attach to the "s-pipe" and end after the 2nd cat?

Ok if that is the jackpot, IOn can you send me a list of parts available and the prices for said parts and photos?
