I have a 2012 Mazda 2 that I picked up back in ’13 from Dunning Motor Sales in Cambridge, Ohio.I traded in my 2010 Focus SES for the Mazda. It had some mods to it but nothing major: CAI, exhaust, tinted tails, eyelids, and some other haggard DIY boredom stuff. The Mazda was an old Enterprise rental car that Dunning had bought the day before I started looking. I showed up on a Saturday, test drove the Mazda and instantly decided I needed this car. It’s small and nimble, can zip around city traffic and tackle the hills in southeastern Ohio. The next day I was a proud owner of a slower and smaller car. I also moved fom the middle of nowhere to Columbus, Ohio and the Mazda is loads better in traffic than the Focus was. Mods on the Mazda are small: whitened the rear emblems, blacked out the front Mazda logo, 25 HP added because of white hood stripes, and that’s it. I don’t plan on changing anything to drastically on the Mazda trying to keep it for longevity.
