Mazda MP3
Hello Everyone, I purchased my MP3 about 2 months ago and I've been working hard on fixing it up, restoring the paint, (bought langka and fixed a bunch of chips) the engine, (changed oil, flushed radiator, new filters) new silverstar headlight bulbs and cleaned all the carpets and interior.

The previous owner was a smoker and the steering wheel leather is HASHED, the once silver leather is now brown on the left side of the wheel and looks horrible. After seeing this post, ( http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=22573&highlight=spray+dye )
I decided to spray dye my steering wheel to the original silver, my problem is Im not sure which color dye to use. the person in the other thread had a more silver look than the normal mp3 looks. I want to keep it as close to the original color as possible.
Has anybody done this before? any idea of the best color to use?
Here are the options:

Im leaning towards castella or titanium metallic.

What do you all think?

The MP3 colors were a brownish bronze i thought. Are we sure its silver? Because all the trim pieces in my MP3 are light bronze-ish color and they would match the seats and steering wheel.

I don't think it's a bronze color... it's more of a warm silver as opposed to a cold silver (sunlight silver metallic). I painted the radio surround, gauge surround, and shifter surround sunlight silver metallic and it's definitely a colder silver than the trim around the window switches.

light titanium isn't the color of the silver parts of the car, its the color of the pillars and headliner. not really what you see on the chart... trust me, I've used it to paint my pod... I will go to the store one of these days and pick out a dye (SEM) that will match the silver to my satisfaction... I wanna do my wheel too.
