Interior "Blue" lighting Help.

Just purchased a Red 2010 speed 3 with tech package after driving my friends for a day. I love it but have a few questions. He has "blue" lighting on floor near the pedals, I do not. Is there a switch to turn on/off? Or is this an option I do not have? I have the "blue" lights on doors and console, not on floor. I would appreciate feedback.

Probably an aftermarket mod, but I don't know, not having a Speed and being new here. Perhaps ask your friend...?

^+1 Sounds like your friend has done some aftermarket lighting. I haven't heard or seen anyone with stock Lighting on the floors. Not hard to set up though, just wire a switch to some leds and hook them up to a 12v constant. (cigarette lighter, dome light) then mount the leds and the switch where you want them and your done.

I have the 2010 3 HB Sport and I have blue lights on my front door pull handles, both footwells and there is one in the headliner between the interior lights that shines down. They came stock with the car. I have to clue how to turn them on or off. I want to find out how to turn them off because the one overhead drives me nuts.

I've read that early 2010 mazda3s had side view mirror turn signal blinkers as well as footwell blue ambient lighting, but both of these were removed (probably as a cost-saving measure) in the mid-year update. No idea if this applies to the '10 MS3, but it sounds like it may.
