Interesting Info on our Infotainment Unit for the future?

This guy is a bit of a sad jerk in some parts but he does seem to know what he's talking about. It's a promising prospect to hear that the UI in the infotainment unit is open source. Much like Hyundai's unit, people are modifying and making improvements.

That is a good thing. The last thing we need is an Apple system. Hopefully, our Linux systems will last. According to the video, the manufacturer makes industrial systems (good sign in my book).

There's already people hacking/modding the infotainment system. Some got the touchscreen to not lock once you're past 5mph so you can still use the touch screen and some other stuffs. Just make sure you don't update your infotainment to v31 since it looses wifi and you'll need that to get into the system.
