Interest in a CF guage pod

Yea I dont like the 2 gauge idea! Is there anyway you can make some that can hold 3 gauges? Also is this real cf?

this is real CF, I can look at 3 holes, but if only 2 people want them, its not feasible for me to make them..

Ok, I got the plate yesterday and got a pic ready.

Also, so I don't get busted for not being an AV yet, I am still gauging interest to see if you guys want this or not.

Ok, I can have 2 or 3 hole plates made for the same cost, so if I do this, and after I become an AV, when you place your order, I will need you to specify which plate you want.

I am waiting on a gauge that I bought to come in before I install the plate, so it will be this weekend before that happens.

I won't know for sure until I can install it. I put the plate up to my dash and it fits perfectly where the pocket is.

I am also looking at making it angled towards the driver.. I have some ideas on this and will be making a prototype soon.. just have to find the parts ;)

Yeah, let's talk about the install. What kind of stuff is required? I dislike cutting and things like that, because I'd prefer fully and easily reversible things.

If it seems to be to my liking, I'm interested.

Since I haven't taken that part of the dash apart, is the pocket seperate from the piece that holds the radio? If it is, nothing will need to cut as the plate fits perfectly in the space where the pocket is.

I am thinking of making it spring loaded so it can be flush with the dash or pop out towards the driver.

it will be clean as I wouldn't do something fugly to my car and wouldn't expect anyone else to either..

I'm still interested, i'd like to see a 3 also, thx for keeping us updated...

I'd be in for a 3 gauge version, if no cutting is required and it is a direct fit. Not a bad price at all assuming it's real CF like you say.

Oh its real CF all right. Its actually the same material used to make the chassis plates of 1/12th scale RC cars. Its VERY good quality and stiff, not that it matters much in the dash of our cars.

I will get a 3 hole plate made to show you what it will look like.

I'd take a 3 gauge one that would only requiring taking the map pocket out and replacing with this. I don't want to cut on my car. Simple snap in and I'm down.

well, this is going to be on hold for a week or two.. my car was broken into and I am going to have to wait until I get the dash fixed until I can fit the plate and do install pic & stuff.

Here is the plate in my dash... the only thing is that there is only one gauge in it..
