Intercooler Sprayer

I wouldnt think you would need an intercooler sprayer. My buds STI has one stock and he said he never needs to use it.

The IC sprayer would only really be used for a day at the track. Everyday driving never really requires it. Unless it's a car you take to the track alot then you could probably just opt to upgrade your stock IC and see similar results for daily commutes.

is it illegal to have a tank like that in ur car?

I guess this differs from state to state. I know Mississippi doesn't have any law that I know of against it. I have a couple friends that have spray on their cars and they keep the tanks in all the time.

Waste of MONEY IMO. Just upgrade the IC and have better performance year round.

Want a real improvemnt then go AWIC and get an ice water tank. that will make an improvement at the track.

What is an AWIC?

i was chatting with a knowledgeable buddy ;last night and he came up with the suggestion of just relocating the rear window sprayer to the front the car instead of buyin an aftermarket IC sprayer. that way it remains stock.

t off the line or something? but then we'd be spraying blue window fluid all over my intercooler....unless i drain it and before i race just fill it with ice

I have seen that before. We have tried putting ice directly on the intercooler of our WRX once....did not make that much of a difference.

well not ice on the intercooler...just if he t's off the windshield wiper line to spray water through the stock lines...i would put ice in the tank for filling the washer fluid and use the water to cool the intercooler down after i drive a bit or if i really feel the need to cool my intercooler down before a race....

Right...we did not want to mess with our other car and do that....so we just used the ice method. LOL It is a very cheap and easy idea. :)
