I'm not a mechanic :
I think you would end up choking the intake. While I am sure you could bolt one on, all Intercoolers have a certain amount of pressure loss. Also, an intercooler is designed to be connected to a forced induction system which is pushing the air though the system. I don't believe that your stock airbox, or even a SRI/CAI would be able to create enough pressure to push the air through effectively. A custom RAM-AIR might work, but at low speeds again you would have the same problem, I think.
If you really want colder air, pick up an Injen CAI - though since you already have the AEM SRI, your performance gain would more than likely be only slightly noticable; maybe 1 HP.
Get a turbo kit from Perfworks like I am!
