intercooler looking questions..

Hey guys !

I know thoses questions sounds noob , but i really need answer to them.

Im planning on getting my fmic on my speed 2003.5 but i need to be sure of 2-3 things before.

1- Best quality price core ? (planning on 10-15 lbs soon) spearco , corksport , altered custom, mishimoto , perrin ?

2- Noob one ** Does anyone know if i be abble to install it without pulling await my frount bumper grill?
Cause anyone have delete them and i found it really uggly in fact, i want to keep the look straight as possible
Does anyone have a tip on this , core dimension i need ?

I installed mine behind the bumper without removing the bottom grill, it is 27"x7"x2.5". It is an ebay core and it works great, will handle over 15lbs easily.

Give that thread a read, that is the only way to answer all of your questions. You will need an aftermarket BOV and flange and a few extra couplers in different sizes for the turbo outlet and throttle body.

I have to assume that if you're asking these questions that there hasn't been a major amount of modifications done to your MSP (not saying that in negative way so please don't take it as such). And if that statment is true then you'll be gambling with your engine's life expectancy (and the odds are not in your favor) pushing that much boost without forged internals or a way to tune it. There's plenty of great information on this site about proper steps to getting good gains out of the FS-DE you'll just need to research and see if this is the option you plan on pursuing. Good luck.
