bypass nipple broke off today during the mazda dyno day, and I need to get new one asap. Ive found a few online, but Im just wondering from people who have them what the best ones are for you money?

Well did you want to get an OEM replacement or something else? Do you have stock pipes?

i have stock pipes right now id like to go with a fmic but dont have the money yet so id like to do better than stock i saw a samco hose that seemed good but i mean intercooler piping is all the same its just who makes it fit the best for the best price ya know

You won't feel the same once you get hardpipes lol.

edit: NVM I thought you meant stock was good quality.

a lot of people say that as long as you get some good quality hard pipes it doesnt matter too much of the price. AS LONG as you get good connectors. my buddy has around 300hp on his sr20det and running ebay universal cut hard pipes and greddy connectors. works for him without issues

Hell yea. I was using some old silicone couplers and worm gears when I put on my FMIC. Now I've got new Vibrant couplers and t-bolts and it runs so much smoother.

ya i havent looked on ebay for anything but if that doesnt bring up anything ill probly go with that samco one its only like 125 bucks

In the meantime you can fix that with some jbweld. Just scuff and clean the two surfaces, apply the jb weld and let it sit over night. That will hold you over until you get the upgraded piping.

I've had the Samco for a few years now. No complaints at all. Fits perfect and has never given me an issue. I would definitely recommend t-bolt clamps with it.

ya I got some pretty hardcore apoxy for it better than jbweld that stuff is hit and miss

was the outlet for the diverter valve in the same spot from the pics on the site it looks like a generic pic of the tube? and where did u get it from?

i'd say go for it. run that for a little and maybe upgrade your connectors and you may end up with a decient kit.

The maker of that kit is actually a forum member. I hear it is pretty good, and she has a couple options for pipe routing I think so you can keep a CAI.

I have the SLS hot-pipe. Good quality, however you'll need to slighty cut the pipe to make it fit with reducer-coupler, to make a great fit, and needs a larger hose to make the stock bpv fit. I also owned the Samco piece, fits perfect. Both cost about the same, but the SLS is metal compared to silicone. Guess it depends on if you want to do a little work
