Intakes and winter weather?

I live in Lake Tahoe, and I have the Injen CAI, I was wondering what everyone with the CAI's does in the winter. I heard about putting an AEM bypass valve on, but from what I heard it doesn't protect it that well. I really don't want to have to move my coolant well again, just to get the factory air box back in. I know of someone in Sacramento who wants my CAI, i was also thinking about selling it to him, and buyiny an AEM short ram for the winter.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!!

P.S. It's snowing as we speak, so your response is needed ASAP.

unless you have cut additional holes in the wheel well your intake filter is tucked away nicely in a cubby protected from the elements....SNOW will not be a problem at all....neither will water as long as you are not driving in water over a foot deep.

I fail to see what the problem could be....unless you have cut holes in the walls surrounding the fliter allowing snow to get inside and pack around the filter.
