I hate to sound like a noob.. but im trying to put all the hoses and things that connect back to the intake manifold but i kind of forgot where everything goes. Does any have any pictures of a stock intake manfold setup that i can use for reference.? A very clear view of where everything goes? Or a diagram?? Any help would be appreciated please.

Would you happen to know what connects to this pipe by the throttle body?? SAM_0103.webp
I've connected everything and I can't figure out what goes here. Do you have a picture?

It is a coolant hose about 6" long that goes pretty much straight down from there and connects to a T on a larger coolant line.

You can see it pretty well in this pic I took, although the connection you have circled is hidden by a bunch of other lines in my bay.

Thats a great picture! and where does that coolant line flow to. As in where does the other end connect to because i just can't seem to find it?

Glad you found it. After I took that picture I read about the coolant bypass mod. I don't even think you need a connector. I think you can just take off that pipe you just figured out how to put back on, then disconnect the hose from the bottom of the throttle body and connect it to the outlet you just finally found. Then just put 3/8" nipples over the throttle body pipes so they don't get gunked up. I know autozone sells the nipples.

We have no need to heat the throttle body in AZ or CA, and apparently it doesn't affect our cold idle since it is controlled by our ECT and PCM.

Probably doesn't do much for power, but every little bit helps.

For the TB coolant bypass you can either cap off the lines on the TB or you can use the stock hoses to plug the open holes.

I had two extra 3/8" nipples already, one less hose in the engine bay makes things just a tiny bit cleaner.

Yeah I had it with the hoses and when I had it apart doing the HG I decided to cap them instead lol.

Or would somebody be able to take a picture of their intake manifold vacuum hoses. I have a leak somewhere where my car is idling really rough.. sounds like a vacuum leak but I can't figure it out.

right on or by your throttle body you should find a screw you can adjust , its for your idle, and it is close to the firewall side. if its loose itll sound like a vacuum leak

U shouldn't have to touch that screw.
There is no right on or by. It's one or the other.

Not that ur wrong bro. But there are two different screws on the tb. One is the AAS and one is the TAS. You don't want to turn the wrong one.
