hey guys i was just wonderin wat kind of insurance od u guys have? like company n how much are u guys payin? i need a new one my sis got into to many accidents last year and they kicked me off of the insurance, so i need a new one im 17 no tickets for almost a year and im trin to get under my dads name so i can drive all of the family cars, but mostly the mp3. if u guys could help me out n tell me which company is good n cheap, my last insurance i think was about 1300 a year so i guess thats ok, but if u no anyway for the insurance to b cheaper that would b awesome

you must have pretty low insurance in your area, $1300 sounds like a steal to me for 17/m

I am now with Progressive. I got married and have full coverage on 2 cars and pay $220. Progressive only counts the last 3 years of tickets

yea i had some cheap insurance i think it was called rock somethin i dont remember ill try to check when i get home today. But is 182 cheap for 1 month? or could it b cheaper? thanks

Just make sure it is a good company. I like progressive because they are open 24/7 and you can get updates through e-mail about everything. I love all the online stuff. Great company!

High because I moved back to the US without my parents so I couldn't get under their policy, I was 18, male, and driving a brand new sports car with zero wheel time in the US.
And low because I've got a few years behind me here and insurance companies are realizing the mp3 is just a protege.

A lot of people just put down their mp3 or msp as a regular protege for insurance purposes. I calculated rates on both when I got my car and the mp3 was significantly more however, I returned last month and tried the same thing to find that the mp3 vs. protege rates weren't much different. Only was a few dollars more per year with the mp3.

On my insurance with Geico they have it listed as limited edition, but I only pay about 1350$ a year for full coverage,
