Installed Turboxs FMIC Part 2 (Success)

:
Mazda 6i Charcoal Grey
After HOURS of double, triple and quadruple checking all the hoses and fitting, finally holding boost and finally hauling ass. 3rd gear 15psi, 4th 17psi, 5th and 6th 19psi. and all those are holding, i could probably turn up boost a bit, but i'm hitting cut at 21psi in 6th. Here are some pics.*<P>

Nice..If I didnt spend all my money on the AP this would be where the money went.I thought the mazda cai would not work with a fmic,I see that is not true.

you were able to install the fmic and having it fit next to the ms cai?
I have the turboxs fmic also, I could not get the ms cai to work with this setup as a cai (had to go sri). PLEASE tell us how you made it work! Pics if you have them! Looks awsome man - great job!

Oh yea one more thing - what's a hillbilly map clamp ?

Thanks for the comments, at first it wouldnt fit well with the ms cai so i had to take the cai apart, and turn some pipes and force it where i wanted it to go. i'll post some pics tomorrow for you guys. i was kinda iffy on the fitment as well. I didnt lose the bottom splash guard, there are two tabs you have to cut out. and a hill billy clamp is the one in the how to section of the forums. Hillbilly cuz its home made. haha

now all you need to top off the motor is the exhaust mani. that would make that s*** loookk sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet! that IC is f-in huge dude. lol.

yea, that will probably be my next mod, after my TBE gets here, the turbo manifo
ld. I havent heard much about it, any good gains from it?

Question
1. How hard was this install (lets say you didn't have the MS CAI)?
2. Do you need a BOV? Does it come with one? can you use the stock BOV
3. Any issues with CEL's etc...?

Install is not that hard, takes about 3 or 4 hours, you can use the stock bpv or anyone for that matter (same flange), no cel's.

i tripped one cel, i didnt scan it , but i'm pretty sure it was from not clamping down hard enough on the fittings.
