Well, a year later and I finally got my suspension installed. I know, no pics, but you really can't tell that its lowered anyway.
The Bad: Visually, you cannot tell the car is lowered...at all. When I pull up to a curb, I can tell it is a little closer but thats about it. I will hit the front clip if I am not carefull, but the bumper is clear. The ride is a little harsher, but after 90 miles, they still haven't completely broke in.
The Good: It's awesome, my second car lowered and this one has great balance. It is slightly stiffer, but I like it. Bumpy surfaces cause a little more interior rattle but thats it. Body roll is reduced and I know now just how crappy the stock tires are. The grip is not up to par with the handling characteristics.
The Verdict: If you are putting a performance suspension on, this set up good though I would have gone for the Koni FSD's. I got the MS dampers because I get Mazda employee discount. With the Racing Beat springs, you maintain a comfortable car without worrying about driveways, curbs and other scraping issues. If you are lowering because of looks, this is not your cup of tea.
What I need now are new tires and my Racing Beat catback that is backordered for another few weeks.
4.5 out of 5 stars.
