Installed LED map light - some pics

I ordered a few WLEDx6 in cool white from Superbright LEDs. I installed one in the map light so I could get a comparison to the stock light. The LED definitely does not seem as bright as the stock incandescent, but it has a more appropriate "hi-tech" look for this interior. In case you are wondering, the theater dimming still works with the LED light.

Keep in mind - I'm no Ansel Adams of the interior here, so I know these pics seem more blue than they really are. I tried all kinds of adjustments on the camera, but these pics kept coming up rather blue.

I was hoping for a little bit brighter... not sure if I ordered the wrong ones or what. There is definitely a blue tinge to this light, but it's not too blue, in spite of what the pics show. I also got the 3022x9 festoon bulb for the dome light. Pics to come soon.

So this is totally off topic here but how's that mirror workin'? I was thinking about getting one mainly for the homelink but then I realized it had a compass too. I have 18% tint on the back window so I'm never flipping the stock mirror to get dimmer but I was just wondering on your thoughts about the dimming aspect of the mirror...

(leds look good BTW, I might do my interior and plates soon too)

I don't have the homelink mirror, but I do have the auto dimming with compass. The auto dimming I thought was a stupid luxury at first, but honestly, I love it now, and will look for the same option when I get another car years down the road.

im with retro on this one. i also have dark tint but it still works. when ever i drive my wifeys civic i find myself adjusting her mirror when someones bright lights are shining in my eyes even through her tint. i have yet to do it once in the MS

Hmmm....thanks guys, I was thinking about getting one mainly for the homelink but now that I hear it works rather well with tint...I may do some searching.

For those of you who have replaced the dome light with the 9-LED bulb, have you noticed that if you set the switch for the light to come on when you open the door, some of the LEDs stay lit even after you close the door ? They are very dim, but they remain lit. In my wife's Pathfinder about 4 LEDs remain lit, in my MS3 about 2 remain lit and they flicker as I go over bumps. In my Sentra, it works perfectly (completele off or on). I thought maybe I got a couple of faulty festoon bulbs, but I swapped them and I had the sme results.

Just wondering if any one noticed anything similar.

mine keep all of them lit, i have the WLEDx6 and they stay lit and then fade/dim out as normal with the doors shutting.

I too have the superbrightled.com lights, all hyperwhite/cool white in option in the map, glove, dome, license plate, and reverse lights. They do have a bluish hue to them but still look very luxurious inside the car and also from the outside. I think it could also be the reflection off the gray in the seats that give it that tint in the color.

I too like the op had to mess around with my camera, but I was able to get the picture to look exactly what it looks like in person, no dimmer or brighter than this so the picture is an actual representation of what they look like:
