Installed CPE Turbo Inlet Today

I just finished installing my CPE inlet, what a process! Took about an hour just to get everything disassembled and out of the way. Weirdly enough, intake noise has been lessened but the exhaust seems a bit louder, fine with me! However, I can't hear the stock BPV as well as when I had the stock inlet installed, is this normal? Don't really feel much of a difference in power or anything, but it was wet outside when I was going for a test ride.

I have my TIP connected to the CP-e Nano SRI. I can hear it sucking air like crazy. It's a great combo, a full 3" back to the turbo.
Maybe get yourself a Forge BPV next, get the plastic stocker out.

Took you a while . Im so good at taking my intake out thanks to the bad fitment I had with the CPE / cobb TIP's.

Anyway your ecu is still learning but your bpv will probably remain less "pronounced." My forge is much less sensitive. The "ping" sound changed as well. Fine by me. I only wan't to hear my bpv when I hit boost.

Some people reported their intakes getting quieter. My intake got louder perhaps because the pg is all metal (and my injen is also metal). I love the new intake sound.

One more thing I noticed: with the stock plastic turbo inlet, while cruising I was able to get an intake air temp usually about 1 degree higher than ambient. After installing the CPE turbo inlet pipe, typical intake air temps are 5-6 degrees higher than ambient, this normal?

Depends on the ambient temp and other factors. Usually when cruising on the highway my intake temps are about ambient or a tad (5-6 degrees) higher. Seems normal to me.
