So i installed a ms3 cobb intake like many others are about to do and figured i'd show it off a bit.

No fitment issues or anything? And does it trip a CEL? I've been hoping for a Short Ram MS6 intake from them for a while.

only thing that doesn't work is the bracket so its kind of just hanging there but it seems pretty sturdy. i am going to figure out a way to get it to work.

I'm right behind you with this mod.

That filter looks tiny though. But, I guess its not the size that counts.

i took it out don't worry. one thing i did manage to make a mistake and do was crack a piece a plastic on the maf sensor. i dont think its a big deal cause i am not getting a cel so nothing happened to the sensor, just broke a piece off next to the iat bulb. this isn't a picture of mine but the part in red is what broke off.

well then perhaps then i'll sell this to a speed3er and get that if the price is similiar.

Yeah, i just read about the MS6 one last night. Seems like it'll be out within a few months.

here is how i made the bracket work, sure it doesn't look good but hey it keeps the intake from floppin around.

Looks good. I thought about getting one, they I heard they were working on a speed6 one since it wasn't going to be that different.

i just read that they fabbed up the new bracket and will be sending it out to get made and the only other difference is a larger filter.

if its out b4 the spring im gonna sell my Fujita CAI. im sure the gains cant be that much of a diff.... plus i woulndt be crazy everytime it rains / snows here !

Bigger filter? Great, that was the big beef I had with this intake, the filter looked wimpy whenever I saw one on a MS3.

the filter isn't really that small, its the same size as the ones that are on the other intake kits. it might just look small since it doesn't extend as far with all that open space. i doubt a filter that is slightly bigger is going to provide you with any gains.
