Injen CAI DYNO

NICE. The power increase feels about right...I KNEW it wasn't just psychological because it's louder.

Of course, the fact that my 0-60 times dropped after the CAI install also showed me that the Injen increases power noticeably.

wow couple of tenths, that's not bad for couple of hundred bucks. How does it feel at top end?
 
It also may be the fact that I'm slowly improving on my launch as well :)

Top end is still pretty bad...I can feel the acceleration drop way off at higher RPM's. I need a bigger exhaust to open up the top end on this thing.
 
yea i got an injen intake too. its not so bad. But thats not that bad. More power increase then i thoguht of. Nice.
 
Hey, I think the Injen (or any intake) is worth the money for the sound alone! The turbo sounds awesome now.

Those dyno results are from the Injen webpage. I would rather see some independent dyno testing of the CAI.
 
im REALLY thinking about getting an injen instead of an apex DP for now... just for emissions purposes... perhaps an injen and an apex turbo timer or somthing.. we'll see.. black injen in my black speed would look mighty fine :)
 
All I know is I hate when other companies talk s*** and then you throw result's in their face. bad buisness ethics.
 
if i had a scanner to show you my dyno at boosting 10 psi with the injen i would but ill tell you the #s it was 191hp/187tq

and was was it before you put the cai on at 10 psi? thats not really telling us anything
 
those power curves are completely different, i don't see how thats possible they obviously didnt run the car the same each time

thats not really helping out with this thread they are trying to see what the cai alone increases not turning the boost up also...
 
stock max trq was achived at 3800 or so and with the intake was achieved at 6k? how is this possible just from changing the intake for a turbo, im not seeing this happening sorry...
