Hey everyone i was just wondering how many effective and cheap mods there are? such as the throttle body ground and advance timing! Are there any more? Thanks!

Short Ram Intake or Cold Air Intake
4 - 8 HP gains depending on your car
at about 3.5 or 4 RPM you hear it kick in, subtle but good

Then as you save up money you can get a header and an exhaust system

Lightweight pullys also increase your horsepower to your wheels

well the factory ground on the 3 isnt that great, so grounding the throttle body to the battery, definitely helps! i dont know all the scientific mumbo jumbo lol but it definitely helps in throttle response, and the lag in rpm spikes while shifting! also its like a $10 mod :-) hit me up if you have any more questions or need more info! id definitely recommend doing it, if you havent already! some other ones are a VTCS valve delete in the intake manifold. look for tutorials on that one, intake cold air or short ram, i went with injen but i had to make an alum splash plate for when it rains so no water got on the filter, if you want to make your interior lookin pretty go to superbrightLEDs.com for interior light bulbs. im using the red ones and they are perfect. Talk to people about wiring some subs or an amp if you like to play loud music(ps keep the windows down or youll go deaf), RKM makes a short shifter thats only 65 compared to TWM which is i think 150. maybe a newer headunit. i dont mind the stock one. best place to look for mods is on this guys site. hes the best http://krystmsgarage.com/?page_id=16 another mod that is actually very nice is the oil conversion kit, its was like 70 bucks but it doesnt leak all over. its from a cartridge to a spin on filter. like mentioned earlier a grounding kit for the engine. I did a 5 wire ground, Shoot me an email @ matt.maslowski99@gmail.com if you have any other questions
