indiglo gauges installed

Very nice. How easy was it to get the guages over the needles? I want to change the guages, but after reading so many horror stories about breaking the damn needles, I am kinda weary about the whole thing

haha. well this took me a long time to acomplish. this is actually a used gauge cluster. well heres the story

1. got my indiglos in the mail and took my gauge cluster apart
2. got the speedometer and odometer indiglos over by slippin them over...very easy
3. last one is the temp and gas....got half way on and snapped both at the same time
4. PANICKED!!!
5. went around the city to see if anyone can jus fix the needles but no luck
6. went to mazda dealer and got quoted 800 CDN!!!! too much
7. finally found a junkyard that had a p5 wrecked and had a gauge cluster....275CDN. not too bad compared to a new one
8. Got it installed for 175CDN

so just to let everyone know, DO NOT ATTEMPT BY YOURSELF. its too risky unless you know what you are doin.

I like those a little bit, but the inner part of the guages is a bit too much. Indiglo can be overwhelming at night.

Whoa yeah. A little too bright for my taste. Reverse indiglos are my style.

Just wouldn't want to be driving with them every night is all. It looks nice in pics. :D

MPH indiglo gauges

procarparts.com for around $45, they come with two settings, they're two shades of blue and red

I installed some on my S-10 and the needles just popped off, the hard part was getting the dash off and figuring out wich wire was the correct one to splice into. I got lucky and spliced into the right one. Mine are older and the entire thing glows! Fortunately it has a dimmer on it, I drive with it set low. These look pretty sweet but I wish it didn't have that inner circle that looks like a lighter blue than the #'s. Rice a roni's seems to not have the ineer circle. Deffinately digging those!
