In the Market for 2014 CX-9 , whats your take ?

I got my pretty loaded 13 with 30k miles for $21 with a hook up at a dealership. AWD, Leather, navigation. Only thing i plan on having to add is a set of fogs.

Thats a pretty good price. Did you get a touring or Grand touring ? What color did you get.

I see that mazdausa is updates with 2015 MY and the dealers have inventory too. I wonder what are the changes if any.

Car & Driver said last month there are no changes.

Update: I ended up buying a 2010 Touring with tech package. So far pretty happy with it except that for some reason I cannot get the drivers seat to not give me back ache. Good thing this s my wife's primary car. Did anyone else suffer back fatigue in the cx-9 too ?

I find the driver's position in my 2010 GT very comfortable. The seats are more European than Buick though. You might try one of those memory foam seat cushions either under you or behind your back. I sometimes take a small one when on a very long trip (eg Boston to DC) just to vary the seating position a bit every couple hundred miles.

FMC CX9 will come out end of 2015 (or early 2016) as 2016 model.
Engine will be 2.5L turbo Skyactiv for USA (making 320hp), and a Skyactiv V6 (displacement unknown) is rumored to be in the work also.
Transmission will remain with 6-speed automatic from Aisin (manual shifting will stay). (unlike Acura going with 9-speed, for instance)
Diesel will not make it to USA until Mazda decides what to do with after-treatment (yes or no).
It will be 8-9% lighter and likely smaller than what it is and will move upscale (much like Mazda3 vs. Civic/Corolla).
That is as much as I learned from the web. Take it with a grain of salt.
