In-Dash TV

i dont kno0w for 400.... i have the pioneer indash dvd/tv.... cost alot more then 400 though.

FOr $400 your only shot is to buy a raw, not to mention cheap, LCD screen and custom mold it in or buy one like that already like that is linked to above.

I am personaly not a fan of in car video as I rarely have passangers and watching something stationary while in a moving car makes me sick. To me in car video (90% of the time) is mostly just another way of showing off.

you guys have most likely seen this
thanks for the props on our screen setup :) i personally have the touchscreen unit + computer in the car. 99% of the time its running GPS or mp3s, but i've watched a few DVDs on it and played some gamecube

yea i got the Pioneer Avh-6500. Loving it. touch screen, navi, dvd, tv etc. but i use my cd player more. its only for movies and alittle showing off :D

Had a pioneer avh 6400 with a PS2.

You'll have to spend more the 400 bucks for a good In-Dash-Screen.

EDIT: Pic of my 6400

our in dash screen is 490 shipped, which I don't think is a bad deal for the quality of screen you get and the quality of finish and fitment involved.

My setup... although my dvd player is now inside my glove compartment.

Ok guys, i just bought a AVIC-N1....i'm still deciding on whether to install it in the bottom din or the top. I'm thinking the bottom because it won't block the ac vents that much. Any advice?

i got mines on the bottom. becuz i wanted my cd player still(on top). dont ask why. but i think its cool there. it doenst block the a/c vent.

sorry about the pics. they're alittle blurry. my pic taking skills suck.

Hey what brand and model of LCD do you use on your top of the line package 5? Also would you be able to duplicate the Carbon Fiber sides that's stock on most 03' MP5's cover?

Thanks
Chris

I had an in-dash motorized LCD screen above a DVD headunit (double din) in my Subaru Legacy GT. Later I purchased the TV tuner. I loved it at first, but I noticed the longer I had it, the less I used it. After about a month and a half I never used it for anything but selecting songs off an MP3 disc. Whenever you're spending that much money you have to make sure it's something you'll love for a long while.
