Imported Phonebook Issues

1) Imported my phonebook from Blackberry Tour - say about 400 entries. the source phone book has slots for work/home/cell, aside from other phone #'s (e.g. cell#2, fax), yet the import took one phone # from each entry. Pretty useless to me. WTF? I can't find any detailed documentation on phonebook so I don't know if this is poor design, a compatibility issue with my phone, or what.

2) one of my phonebook contacts died. for the life of me i can't figure out how to edit or delete a single entry from the imported phonebook list.

It is probably compatibility issue because all my contacts and numbers of a contact are imported. I am using iphone.

so you see a number listed 3 times, for example, if you have a work/phone/cell listed for them - or is there a submenu that pops up if you select the contact for which number?

and what if you have to edit/delete one of these contacts? how can you do that?

Mazda phonebook is HORRIBLE. No manual entry or edit. I hate it.
