The eighth annual Import vs Domestic event was held at MIR on Sunday, 09 November 2003. There were over 1000 cars racing despite the high 30 degree/ low 40 degree weather! Just in case you were wondering, imports have won the trophy five out of the last eight years.
In addition to the racing, there was a huge carshow, product booths, a "shake your booty" contest and thousands of people. Dateline NBC was there interviewing spectators and just getting footage of the scene. Hopefully they don't turn it into a"street racing" dangerous story etc.
Anyways, I've linked to the photos I took at this event. There was an accident, a 15-second truck (Freightliner) and various hot cars. There was alot of Mazda love at this event, even a few brave souls running their Proteges and RX8s. Check em out!
