How do I burn dvd's? I have a dvd burner and I know I need certain software to be able to make back up copies of MY DVD's (yeah right). Now keep in mind that I am completely puter retarded. so please speak in stupid people language not in I have a degree in computers and you connect the flux capacitor to the thingamabobie. So what i am asking is what software do I need? Can I get it free online somewhere or will I eventually have to buy it? PLEASE HELP!! My father burned some dvds for me on dvd+r's and they work on my in dash monitor so I know they will work, thats why I want to do this. Thanks all.

Yeah, I have seen that before but is there any free versions anywhere?

You can copy encrypted dvds. You can use movie jack 3.5 or something simialar. I know it works for backing up my dvds.

ummm, how about Nero? Kazaa my friend, they have it all. I can see about letting you use my completely legally obtained Serial Number if you need it. Just search Nero on Kazaa, if you are into that illegal downloading stuff

It's free, it is very easy to use, it's got everything. Can copy the whole disc, just the movie itself, you can set the compression levels differently for the menus vs the move vs the "extras", etc. It is awesome. There is nothing that matches it for the price of $0.
