DAMIT, there is something wrong with my brakes...

When I get on them I hear some sort of crackling noise coming from the front left wheel. its louder the harder I press on the brake pedal

It NOT the sound of a worn down pad, not at all, it sonds like as if there is something seriosly wrong. It sounds like small metal caught in Bicycles wheels spokes. (Maybe a Broken Pad???? I havnt heard that before.)

I look at them and they dont have anything aparently wrong with them.

The brakes work fine and stop the car without feeling out of the ordinary

Any Clue???

Thanks for any Help!!!!!

My feeling on brakes is if its not obvious what the problem is, take it to a professional and have them look at it, the last thing you want is for them to go out driving a mountain pass. . .

how do the rotors look? Almost sounds like you might have a hairline crack on the rotor.

Also, when was the last time you cleaned your wheels? Is it possible that you used a caustic spray that's created a film on your rotors?

Take the pads off and take a look to see if something's caught in the middle groove on the pad, and if so, make sure the rotor is not scored as a result. While you're at it, check for uneven wear on the pads front-to-back. If it's uneven, the caliper might be getting stuck on the slide bolt(s).

I'm sure it's been fixed by now, but I had a similar problem except the noise would go away under very hard braking. Had the rotors machined and have no more problems. Have the rotors checked first.

Yeah, sory for no update, I paid 65$ to get the brake fluid flushed (Wayyyyy to lazy for that) I also replaced the pads myself right before going, & I had the rotors checked and spun when they flushed they fluid also.
