Well after my Partial Patellecomy (removing have my knee cap) and 3 weeks in my house, watching tv, going crazy. I have ventured out, not on long drives but around town. I'm so happy, I've missed my baby. I'll keep an eye out for all you P5er's out there in the Westminster area. And thanks for this forum it has kept me occupied over the weeks.

 yowza!! I really don't want to think about that one; I had ACL surgery in '99 and that was crazy in and of itself.

May I ask why you needed the cap removed? Accident? (Sorry if I missed the post - if any - about it).

Good to see you're back at it....

yeah could u please explain this surgery and what not better. i just wanna be able to understand it better.

Thanks guys
Dimitrios, I was being dumb and took my bosses dirt bike a 250R out for a spin. Well to put it short, I put my knee into the corner of a 4x4 oak post. It's hard to believe how fast those things can get away from you.
oh and that should have been half, not have.
The impact split my knee into 5 pieces. The only piece that was reuseable was the top part. The bottom 3/5's of the knee was to shattered to reuse. That was then removed and they reatached the ligament to whats left. So when the swelling goes away I'll have one small knee. I'm still in this brace for another 2 maybe 4 weeks. Then theropy, so driving is alittle difficult but, not impossible.

ah ic, thanx for the info man. just makes things a bit easier to understand and to get an idea of what can happen when u least expect it.

If you have a 5spd you can say that driving is part of physio. Screw doing knee bends, i'm going for a drive! (drive)
