::sob:: I've been dying to learn stick but everyone I know has funky modified cars and Aric's car doesn't like other women

Fly out to Boston......you can drive my car.....just got a new clutch put it:)

That's a relief. I thought I was the only person here on this forum who did not know how to drive a manual. I think I will be chicken and stick with automatic. Every once in a while I drive 4 hours to Wisconsin because we have a cabin up there and I can't see myself driving a stick for that long. Eventually engineers will perfect the "automatic turbo." And when that happens I will be there. Peace, San.

well I'll bet a good hour or two of the time would be 5th gear on cruise control anyways...

I don't know sometimes I wish I had a manual so I could see what it was like. The lazy part of me likes the automatic in heavy traffic. So (shrug)

haha, I'll sell you guys my saturn dirt cheap as soon as I'm done destroying the clutch and get bored with it ;)

Stick is the best in heavy traffic....builds character!

I drove 12 hours from texas straight, trust me, you dont shift for 12 hours. :p
once youre in 5th gear, youre done.

also, its really not too bad in heavy traffic. i had a bad shifting knee for awhile due to snowboarding, but that didnt even really bother me.
