you're gonna have to run premium gas like the turbo'd kids... except without the turbo's power. don't do it man!!! 20 cents a gallon, 12 gallons per fill up, $2.40 a tank, ~$10 a month, ~$120 a year. all for very minimal gains.

The result of the MP3 ECu was less then 3 whp and over a very small band.

You do not have to run premium with the stock MP3 ECU. The car is not going to knock even with 87 octane.

yep... 3whp all the way at the 6Krpm mark. i don't think it's worth the extra money on fuel, do you?

The MP3 form the facotry was rated at the flywheel for 140 hp, 10 more then the P5 which they said was do to the Exhuast (just a muffler) and the ECU. Without the muffler involved as the dyno was done on an MP3, the resuklt was a 3 hp decrees at max whne a P5 ecu was swaped in.

Read again!

On an MP3 if you put in a P5 ecu you will loose about 2.5 whp
In a P5 if you put in an MP3 ECU you will gain (maybe) about 2.5 whp. Its harder to tell here becuase the MP3 that FM had obviouly had the Racing beat muffler on it.
