Idea's for the next NJ meet?

I wont be around the weekend of the 27-29. So if scheduling try and stay out of those days so i can come. =)

When i had a miata we used to meet at Lambertville station (right over the bridge from new hope, the main street one, not the 202 one). From there we'd drive all over that area, and eventually stop some place for lunch. Really cool, because they were a cool bunch, and we went on some nice twisty roads. Plus its really cool being in a parade of like 30 miatas .

I'm down with New Brunswick though, thats a nice area for hanging out, ... how about Old Man Rafferty's? Thats a restaurant and bar, so we could reserve a big table, people can still drink, and those under 21 can still hang ...

yep, thats real close to me.

I was in newhope eating lunch with my girl and a endless amout off mini's drove by. It was crazy, it had everyone watching.

I'll bet. When we had a LOT of miatas, like on the first run of the spring, we'd get like 50 or so cars. People don't know what to do when they see that many of the same car either. Most sort of look confused, the give a goofy smile and wave. Its a happy car, makes everyone smile

I LOVE the Lambertville Station! Excellent food (try the Alligator Chili), and the waitstaff is well-trained. The food is a bit pricey ($15-$30 an entree) but drinks surprisingly are not. A Grey Goose and tonic cost me $6, a 7&7 was $4.

I still think we should do the Hooters in Lawrenceville/Drive to New Hope, but I'm down for whatever

Hooters was cool....but as previously mentioned, the freedom of the park was way cool!l!
Maybe we can bring Hooter's to the park? Hmmmmm

my dates are as follows:
september 20 till whenever

driving distance: im coming from philly, so anywhere at a half way point in nj i quess.

time: anywhere from 12 afternoon on for the weekends

I say hooters or the park again... hooters might be a little far for people comming from the shore area. No one seemed to have to drive more than 1hr to the last meet.

Yep, I have been to the ft. washington convention center b4. i believe it is about 45mins from me, haven't been there in about 5 years.

Hey guys...I am ordering a Header...I should be shipped by end of this week...and should have it installed by the end of next week....and so i want to offer a suggestion for the Meet!!

Sept. 26th or 27th..@ Englishtown...As everyone knows...Englishtown...has a 1/4 mile track...It's like 20 to run your car..and like 15 to watch...I think this would be a great meet.....Especially for those who are interested in getting some track time!! Also this will give people something to do..instead of playin football..or just standing around talking about cars!!

sounds like a plan. i also am getting a new header soon. probably from the same place as you, racing mazda? im definately down for this idea.
