Iam dissapointed in my "07 CX7

I purchaced a Mazda Cx7 new at the end of '07.My 2000 Dodge Stratus was on its last leg and I was disgusted with Dodge and their shotty engine and drive train and crappy transmission.I thouht I made a good choice because of the quality and dependaability of Mazdas.I love the look and the way it drives and handles.What is really getting my goat about this car is that I had to replace the timimg chain and the VVT parts at 70,000 miles.The engine was making such a racket I didnt know what it was til I read on other forums about the Timing chain.I call the Mazda USA corp and sent in my complaint and after 1000.00 dollars fixing the timimg chain and three weeks later I got a letter that they will reimburse me if I had already had it fixed.I sent my paper work in with my service receipt two weeks ago and I have heard nothing yet.Also with this was a white smoke thing that they will give you up to 70,000 miles on the warrenty.i dont know about you but after 5 years Ive put over 70,000 miles.Mazda is doing everything they can to get out of paying or fixing these parts.I think that Mazda should replace all engines in all "07 CX7's without having a turbo.The turbo has also been a big problem to.Is anyone else having these problems here?It makes me sick that Mazda is doing this to its customers.
 
Not sure what the issue is here and why you're saying Mazda is trying to get out of paying. Two weeks is not a lot of time. If its a month or so then I would start worrying. Your not Mazda's only customer and they did say they would cover it. It just takes time. By law Mazda only has to cover you till 60k. The fact that offered to cover the repairs with "over 70k" says that they're accepting responsibility. All cars have issues, despite what people may think. Cars are complicated machines build to a price and parts issues are normal.

Give it some time.
 
Exactly - Try a follow up call to check the progress of the claim and stay calm as its been said, they dont have to help you so they're doing you a favor.
