I took my car to the dealer for some warranty repairs. Kinda sucks since I'm only at 1480 miles. Well, the alignment and a rattle coming from the front right door panel had to be fixed. My car stayed there for 2 days and I had a yucky Ford Escort as a loaner (well it was pretty peppy, but ugly).

The alignment was easy for them to adjust. However my dealer found that the glass was chattering against something, due to the window regulator tilting the glass. So they had to order a new window regulator part, which why they kept my car for an extra day.

Well I picked my car up today, but the rattle/chatter is still there! I guess ill have to call my service writer again tomorrow.

Just thought some of you may want to know this, since couple of you are experiencing rattles from the front right passenger door

I noticed the rattle too but I thought it may have just been the seat belt buckle hitting the side of the car. Guess I'll wait till I go in for my first oil change to have it looked at. At least I can print these posts and take them to my dealer and show them that I'm not crazy. You now the problem never happens when you take it to the dealer until you start driving back home.

On the old message board there was a fairly length discussion of the window rattle. It's fairly common and covered under warranty.

I took it in yesterday so they can have another look. I road tested my car with a technician so I can make sure I let them know what exactly is wrong. The technician said the sound is coming from the B-pillar panel, which is where the seat belt is.

Then early this morning they called and they said they ordered a part. So I have to go back next week. I forgot what part it is because I answered the phone half asleep. :/

I got a Ford Focus for the car rental. Im gonna ask for a Dodge Neon next week heehee

I want to change my speakers too and maybe add tint. but I want Mazda to fix the rattle first. So they won't blame it on the speaker/tint install.

I want three times to get a funky rattle fixed, turned out to be the passenger front fender lining!
