Yes, get a built block and have someone install it. Unless you need the car up asap... even though the dealership is going to probably take forever anyways.

Another question for those that did blow their engine. Did any of you attempt to start the car, what would happen and what would it sound like??

Did they say what might have caused it? maybe low coolant.

RPM dependent rattle/knocking... i melted a bearing in mine.

should've pulled over and shut the car off RIGHT away when the temp gauge pegged (then getting it towed)... there's always very little time between the gauge showing it overheating and damaging something in the engine

yeah hindsight is 20/20 though.

Alot of things i should have done but cant do anything about it now.....
