My i-stop has stopped kicking in and I don't know why. I haven't got the amber flashing light - had that fixed with a new battery under warranty in November. It seems to turn off and on okay (hold button down and amber light comes on solidly, push button again and light goes out), but it's just not kicking in at standstill. Ever.
I know there has to be certain parameters for it to work (warm engine, no significant load on battery, e.g. A/C etc.) but it hasn't kicked in for about a month now. All sorts of different driving conditions: town, town after m/way, long time standing still, everything electrical off, but it still won't kick in.
Before I take it into the dealers again, has anyone any ideas on this? Happened to anyone else? Is there a fuse somewhere that might have blown (can't see anything about it in the manual)? Does it need resetting somehow after a flat battery, like the electric windows? Is it worth buying an OBD reader to see if any error codes are thrown up?
