Ah ok, the silverstars were what a friend of mine suggested as well. Hey Fizzle, since you have a silver P5, let me ask your opinion: Which would look better, black or silver/reflective tint ?
Kyre, will any random ebay short ram fit in our car ? I would prefer not to ghetto rig the intake, and I'm under the impression that AEM makes one specifically fitted for the P5, or am I wrong ? I see a racing intake for $34.99 for the MP3, according to the item title ... this <a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2406816745&category=6764">intake</a> will be the same quality and I will see the same gain as the AEM short ram ?

ebay short rams are good. -=)
mirror tint is illegal so all i got was black. -=( but i like the black becaus eit matches the moulding around the windows.. -=) to each his own tho.

Ooh ... nice work. I like the grill you replaced the stock with. What % are your windows tinted to ?
i got the top grill in today so ill take new pics. -=) as far as the windows i cant remember.. its a graphite tint that wont turn black.. i really wanted what they called a titanium tint.. its a gunmetal color.. but it was too much moolah. -=( mine was 125 an the gunmetal was like 250 -=/
oh well.
the grill is a billet grill from precision design.. there is a phone number and part numbers to order them on the other thread i linked to as well as a great sales person there that i talked to .. all and all i give the company a 4 out of 5 stars.. took my top grill forever to get here but when the guy guarenteed it would be here. it got here.

Well, the 'sex in the backseat' was a hypothetical situation. Maybe it would actually be happening if my girlfriend didn't think I loved the car more than her. (doh)

What type of cams would you guys replace the stock with ? MP3 ? And would we see much gain in replacing them for the money spent ?
Does installing a catback change our car's emmissions ? (ie: will we fail inspection ?)

Mazda supposely has said that the installation of the mp3 cams will not void the warrenty. Didnt see the specs on the cams though, think someone once mentioned them before.
The catback should not affect the emissions in such a way that it will fail emissions testing. You are installing it after the cats, so most of the exhaust has already been filtered etc. Think some states have laws againts the size of the outlet though etc. But its rarely enforced expect by anal cops.
The intakes on ebay have been used by many members and everyone seems happy. One person did a few dyno tests using the different types of ebay intakes, and think only a few actually lowered the hp by 1 or 2. Can't really comment further since I have driven one with it to know if the throttle response is dramtically changed, but it should increase the response regardless of which type. Plus for the money even its a good deal.
And if you havent seen it there is a FAQ that answers alot of questions and gives details on our cars.
